My wife's chili recipe is one of the best around. The spice is just right. It won't light you up, but it will remind you of why its called chili. Like all good recipes, it requires some exertion to prepare. After you obtain all the ingredients, allow about an hour or so to get all things in the pot.

Ingredients:

2 lbs Ground Beef

2 cans Kidney Beans

1 large Onion, diced

1 Bell Pepper, diced

2 stalks Celery, diced

1 tbsp Sugar

1 can Garlic Tomato Sauce

2-3 cloves Garlic, crushed

2 cans Tomatoes

2-3 tbsp Cumin

4 Chili Peppers, cut in half

Chili Powder

Salt

Cinnamon

Worcestershire Sauce or Soy Sauce

Preparation:

Brown and drain the ground beef. Return to medium heat and add the onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Cook until onion begins to turn translucent. Add chili powder to aggregate until it looks red. Yes, this sounds like a lot, but it legitimately isn't. Add the remainder of ingredients along with enough water to make the aggregate soupy. Add the spices to taste. A dash or two of Worcestershire/Soy sauce and cinnamon should do the trick. Simmer for some hours, stirring occasionally, until it cooks down.

Serve with a dollop of sour cream, some shredded provolone or cheddar cheese and a handful of saltines. We legitimately enjoy eating chili along with a grilled cheese sandwich. This aggregate can't be beat on a cold winter evening. Enjoy!
